[디지털투데이 AI리포터] 비트코인이 2024년 4월 이전에 사상 최고치를 기록할 것이라는 전망이 나왔다.

코인텔레그래프에 따르면, 유명 암호화폐 투자가 비트퀀트(@BitQua)는 15일(현지시간) 자신의 엑스(트위터)를 통해 암호화폐 시장의 장밋빛 미래를 전망했다.

그는 "비트코인이 다음 반감기 이전에 사상 최고치를 경신할 것"이라며 "목표치를 6만9000달러 이상으로 잡고 있다"고 밝혔다. 반감기는 4년마다 비트코인 블록당 채굴 보상이 50%씩 줄어드는 시기를 뜻한다. 다음 반감기는 2024년 4월로 예상하고 있다.

비트퀀트는 비트코인 중장기 전망에 대해서도 대단히 낙관적인 전망을 내놓았다. 내년 반감기 상승뿐만 아니라 2028년 반감기가 시작되면 최고 25만달러까지 오를 것이라는 게 그의 분석이다.

관련해 비트코인 투자자이자 저술가인 제시 마이어스 역시 상승론을 긍정했다. 그는 반감기 전 비트코인 상한선을 4만6000달러로 제시했다. 

16일 오전 11시 현재 코인마켓캡 기준 비트코인 가격은 전일 대비 0.56% 오른 2만6656달러에 거래되고 있다.

According to Cointelegraph, famous cryptocurrency investor BitQuant (@BitQua) predicted a rosy future for the cryptocurrency market through his X (Twitter) on the 15th (local time).

He said, “Bitcoin will hit an all-time high before the next halving,” and “we are setting our target at over $69,000.” Halving refers to the period when mining rewards per Bitcoin block are reduced by 50% every four years. The next halving is expected to occur in April 2024.

Bitquant also presented a very optimistic forecast for Bitcoin’s mid- to long-term outlook. His analysis is that not only will the halving increase next year, but the price will rise up to $250,000 when the halving begins in 2028.

In relation to this, Bitcoin investor and author Jesse Myers also confirmed the upside theory. He suggested the Bitcoin upper limit before halving at $46,000.

As of 11 am on the 16th, the Bitcoin price based on CoinMarketCap is trading at $26,656, up 0.56% from the previous day.
